“Excellent accommodation and lovely hosts” We stayed at Le Castel on the return journey from Provence to Calais 2 years ago because we prefer family run B & Bs. Christine and Didier are wonderful hosts whose home is in fact separate from the building where the B & B rooms are. Their hospitality is second to none and the rooms rank very high on every count in our travel experience. We travelled as a couple with a 15 year old - the room was spacious and faultless. In addition, although we did not need it, there is another separate building with a 'family room' which has sink, fridge, large table and toys for the use of guests. Le Castel is situated in a small village with surrounding paddocks near the river, conveniently located for Dijon. While this may take you a little off the main North-South motorway, this is well worth the extra time and mileage. So memorable was our stay, we named our new kitten Fleury!
